Pet Friendly Hotels San Diego

There is a plethora of wonderful adventures to enjoy with your dog in San Diego. The northern end of Ocean Beach is a popular off-leash destination for canines, as is Fiesta Island. Cabrillo Tide Pools Trail and Cowles Mountain are fun hikes to take with leashed dogs. If you would like a dog park with a designated area for small dogs, then try Capehart Dog Park. If you’re hungry, you can bring your dog with you to lunch at O’Bistro, Pier Café, Baja Betty’s, The Gathering, or The Fairmount Diner. The following is a guide of pet friendly hotels in San Diego.

Tower 23 is the most posh dog friendly hotel, offering 4-star accommodations for small dogs (20 pounds or less) and their owners. With nightly rates of $389 and $689 suites, guests can expect the best. Spa services, gourmet steak dinners and goose-down duvets ensure a comfortable stay – all just minutes from the beach, hiking trails, fishing, golfing, and whale watching. An additional cleaning fee is required.

Guests with larger dogs can find cozy digs at the Solamar, which offers a free stay for pets and generous amenities for pets, such as cozy beds, dining bowls and treats. Any number of pets is welcome regardless of weight, size, or breed. Located 5 minutes from the historic Gaslamp Quarter, this modern pets friendly hotel features a rooftop swimming pool / lounge, free daily wine tasting, spa baths, separate living areas, flat-screen TVs, mini-bars, bathrobes, spa services, and an on-site restaurant.
